Strasburg has experienced rapid growth along its northern corridor due to the fact that Washington D.C. is approximately 80 miles away. Located within the town limits, Strasburg High School serves ninth through twelfth graders.
The schools are administrated by the Shenandoah County Public School system, which is located in Woodstock, and the Virginia Department of Education, which is located in Richmond.
